![]() dont take my word for it though, check them all out. It has the advantage of being a new build, and therefore does not have to carry legacy code from the past 10 years like some of the othersĢ009 has been the year of daw transition for me, and in the end I went with reaper and reason. Reaper, very cheap, massively configurable, very cpu eficient and multithreaded, excellent sound engine, brilliant audio editing, new updates every two weeks. ![]() ![]() ![]() Does have fantastic automation and routing facilities though, and you only have to buy it once, and then get lifetime updates. audio editing excellentįruity just sounds rubbish, i've yet to hear any professional tunes made on it which sound good, and the audio editing is sketchy. very configurable as well, but a bit stuck in its ways in some areas. Dont forget reaper, make sure you demo it as wellĬubase is very expensive and uses a dongle, but is an industry standard and sounds good.
